Biography
Collective is a contemporary art centre and charity, housed in a historic observatory on Calton Hill, Edinburgh. Their home is central to Edinburgh’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. Collective offers private dry hire of their site for unique hilltop weddings. This special place, rich in history and architecture old and new, offers versatile, intimate spaces for weddings, elopements and receptions – all set against a backdrop of panoramic views for a unique ceremony and stunning photographs. All income from hires directly supports their programme of visual arts and events.

I recommended Collective, mainly due to its location, but, following my visit, I was delighted to recommend the facilities too! I was holding a wedding ceremony for a couple from The States, and the Library was perfect – small, light, wonderful views, and such a feeling of history! The couple loved it and the views are so spectacular!
